I received a BA with Honors in Communication from Florida State University in 1995 with a 3.51 overall GPA and am a current Microsoft Certified Professional as of 2002.

My forte is working as a full-time front-end developer in CSS3, HTML5, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React, Node, NPM, MySQL and Postgres and responsive web development and mobile application development. I have front and back end skills and have been a project manager and used MS Office, HTML, JavaScript, and Photoshop for over 27 years.

I have worked professionally in both Windows and Mac environments and am highly skilled on both operating systems. Additional technologies I have worked with include Visual Studio 2022, .NET, Angular 2, Angular 6, Angular 9, Angular 11, Angular 17, C#, Dropwizard, Java, Java SE Dev Kit, JavaScript Runtime, JDK 11.0.2, Maven, Python, React.js, Ruby on Rails, and Vue.js.

I have also worked with graphic design software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, Figma, Quark, Corel and others.

Clients I have worked for include real estate agents and brokers, print shops, and various small to large businesses and corporations, including several on the Fortune 500.

I have worked for the federal government, state governments, and at a state university.

I was a Production Assistant Intern at the CBS Daytime Drama "The Young and the Restless" in Hollywood, California in 1995.

I regularly participate in outdoor sporting activities, am an avid feature film buff, and my favorite television programs include 70's and 80's sitcoms, crime dramas, and variety shows.

I had over 200 Facebook friends and over 1500 followers on Twitter for my business Delray Computer between 2006 and 2016.

Lastly, I am honest, reliable, precise at coding and spelling, friendly, personable, always on time and a very hard worker.

Technical Skills

With over 20 years experience in LAMP stack development, I have worked with complex technologies from both the front end, analyst type role [Salesforce, Jira, MS Office, Adobe CS], to the backend, doing backend computer programming [HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, PL/SQL].

I have worked on teams where we had weekly phone conference calls and on other teams where we did weekly standup meetings where we had to talk for at least 5 minutes. I find doing weekly stand-ups works best, and offers the employee a chance to not only talk about his/her performance and what he/she has accomplished, but also affords the opportunity to make suggestions.

I have built web and print productions from concept to completion. In order to do so I have interacted with clients both on site and on the telephone, and through chat and through email. I find written communications work best. I have obtained user input through the above mentioned methods along with creating web forms that ask specific questions pertinent to specific projects.

I have worked with teams from small (2 people) to large (over 15 people). I always have questions ready for team members written down ahead of time, and I only ask questions pertinent to the development. I always try to ask open ended questions that require someone to answer the questions with answers other than yes or no.

I have worked for companies that already have in place best practices, and I have written best practices myself for companies that do not have them already written. I usually research the issues at hand, and develop best practices from those issues.
